The UN Security Council is not present to see this titanic struggle from the sidelines. The global commerce artery, freedom of navigation, is at risk of being clogged. Attempting to exert control unilaterally is like setting off a grenade in this delicate circumstance. We demand that all sides forgo the battleships and use diplomacy instead. By promoting communication and respect for international law, the UN Security Council can serve as a life preserver during this storm and guarantee a peaceful conclusion. Together, let's negotiate these dangerous waters before a minor altercation turns into a major conflict.
